The Turner Chiropractic And Wellness Center was opened in Long Beach in 1986 by Dr. Chris and Janie Turner. Over the last 30 years, they have gained extensive training in understanding the chemistry and metabolism of the human body. Some of the areas of study include food allergies and sensitivities, nutritional deficiencies, toxicities, metabolism, exercise physiology and weight loss. Their main belief is that health and balance can be attained and maintained by first diagnosing the underlying causes of illnesses rather than treating symptoms. As such, they are continually advancing their studies and research into clinical nutrition. The practice focuses on individuals of different ages and suffering from varying conditions.
