As a chiropractic physician at St. Luke’s University Health Network, my goal is to listen and learn from every patient. By knowing my patient in their entirety, I can better address the source of their pain. Pain can be a complex problem, and one’s physical, mental, emotional and psychosocial health can contribute to their grievance. Most patients have not had one traumatic event that caused their discomfort, but rather a series of micro-traumas that lead to biomechanical problems and tissue failure. My job is identifying the pain, treating the tissues involved, and addressing dysfunction.
