  “I am not sure what to make of this office. They told me that they take my insurance. I got a free exams w/ $20 copay and was asked for $100 for adjustment pending insurance verification. I opt out of the adjustment. They called me back later and advised me that they have verified my insurance, and that all is well and to come back tomorrow to discuss co pay. In addition, there is an required wellness meeting that my hubby and I need to attend, because the spouse needs to know about my health, since my back problems cause them. I started being suspicious, because all chiros I have seen in the past requires my copay and no extra money or any other mandatory meetings. I called my insurance and was told that the office called them and was informed that they are not in network. Is this strange? Why would this office claim to be in network and they clearly are not? Why not just be upfront? In addition, why call me and let me know that I am covered and why am not? I cancelled my appointment for tomorrow.”
